Our Mission

Our mission is about more than just spices; it’s about making Bolivian cuisine accessible to everyone. With each blend, we aim to bring authentic taste and easier preparation together. Our products simplify authentic cooking, inviting you to savor every moment of these traditional foods.

As part of our mission, Bolivian Boy chooses to support projects that help the village and school in Rosario, Bolivia. This village and school were founded by my Bolivian boy’s ancestors. We want to carry on the vision of those ancestors who worked hard to create and live in this community. We share this part of our story to honor the village that inspired our brand—not to imply a charitable solicitation or a donation linked to sales on our site. Your purchase of Bolivian Boy products does not generate a charitable contribution. We hope you choose Bolivian Boy products purely for the joy of experiencing this cultural food.

Celebrating Bolivia’s Culinary Legacy

Years of perfecting our recipes have taught us the art of simplicity in the kitchen. Our expertise in crafting these blends ensures that even the busiest of cooks can enjoy Bolivia’s rich and flavorful meals. Join us in celebrating the vibrant culinary legacy that connects us to our roots.

The Owners

Owners

We are a husband-and-wife team behind Bolivian Boy. With deep family roots in Bolivia and a shared passion for authentic flavor, we created our signature spice mixes to make traditional Bolivian cooking simple, accessible, and delicious for everyone. Our work honors both heritage and community—bringing bold flavors to your kitchen that are inspired by the village of Rosario, where my Bolivian boy's family story began.

Our Story

Bolivians are a people of deep family connections and a love of their heritage and traditions. Our whole extended family would have lunches together every Saturday with all the delicious Bolivian foods. Thank you Ricardo and Flora, my in-laws. The absolute favorite food was Saltenas, the semi-sweet pastry filled with a juicy, slightly spicy stew of meat, potatoes, and peas. The traditional way to eat one is to take a small bite from the end and sip some of the savory juices without spilling a drop. After the first bite it is impossible to resist the sweet, savory, spicy combination of flavors. We hope everyone will enjoy the experience of trying the flavors of Bolivia!!
